This variety has a thick skin that resists the hydrothermal treatment, which involves immersing the fruit into warm water at 45 degrees to prevent the presence of flies,this is a health requirement for mango exports to the United States, China, New Zealand, Chile, Russia, Japan, Korea and Europe.
